Profession: Stylist with Stella & Dot

This is a social selling company that creates flexible opportunities for women to be a work from home entrepreneur. Kathy styles her clients in the company’s line of boutique style accessories through private in-home trunk shows, office style breaks and fundraising events. She believes women love to look and feel beautiful and accessories pull a look together to give all women a simple way to be stylish. Kathy notes this brings compliments, confidence and happiness which she believes is worth sharing. If you agree, you might want to host a Trunk Show. You and your friends or office colleagues will have a fabulous time and will love the free jewelry and ½ off discount which Stella & Dot offers as a “thanks.” If you enjoy jewelry and people, Kathy invites you to join Stella & Dot as a Stylist. Whether you are a fan, customer, Hostess or Stylist – without you Stella & Dot could not fulfill its company mission to give every woman the means to style her own life.

Why I am part of BNC...

"Since joining BNC (formerly BPW of Buffalo) over 20 years ago, I have been able to apply and expand my leadership skills in a supportive environment.  Having the opportunity to "practice" these skills has greatly increased my circle of influence, as I have gained many friends and colleagues locally and statewide. Accepting leadership positions on the local and state levels challenged me to tap into undiscovered inner resources and abilities, to take risks and be rewarded with personal and professional confidence . The diversity of our membership, the opportunities to share knowledge and experience, to mentor and be mentored are benefits that no other organization provides. We stand on the shoulders of the women who came before us...it is now our turn to help those who will follow us..."
