People! We Need to Talk: Effective Communication 101

Robin BridsonCommunication is the lifeblood of every personal and working relationship. And, especially right now, it’s essential to develop and maintain strong positive connections with friends, family, colleagues, and co-workers. Join us for this Zoom presentation to discover creative ways of understanding and improving your communication with others. Our presenter, Robin Bridson, PMP, CPTD is the immediate past president of NYS Women, Inc. She will discuss how people have different communication preferences. What is your communication style? How can you adapt your message to reach each member of its intended audience? Is it even possible? How can you give your listeners the message they need, when they need it, in the right medium? Let’s discuss it and come away with some tips!

Robin Bridson served as the 2019/2020 president of NYS Women, Inc. She is a member of the Mohawk Valley Chapter and an associate member of the Central NY Chapter. She has previously held several offices in NYS Women, Inc., including president of her chapter, from 2013 to 2016; assistant region director of Region 5; and region director.
