NYS Women, Inc. is sponsoring the morning program with light refreshments. The speaker in Empire Theater at 11:00 am is Kate D. Her presentation is, " It's Crisis, but with Jazz Hands: My adventures in Health and Care".

Luncheon speaker is Dr. Kara C. Kort-Glowaki, an American Board Certified general surgeon who graduated from medical school, served her internship and fellowship and completed her residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1999. Her presentation is, "Breast Cancer Basics: Knowledge is Power and Worry is Useless". NYS Women, Inc. will have promotional materials available for everyone. The Girl Scout Council will be dessert sponsor for the luncheon. Think cookies.

The mini fair, from 10 am to 4 pm in the pavilion of Chevy Court, will focus on health services for women. Other women’s help groups will also be present. Visit anytime or while listening to whomever is performing at 2 pm on stage.

The PARADE for Women’s Day will step off at 6 pm. All NYS Women, Inc. members are welcome to walk with all of the groups who participate on Women’s Day. Let Pat know if you will be walking and not able to attend the luncheon. Entry to the fair will need to be arranged. If there are several of us, we will carry the NYS Women, Inc. banner as we walk the parade route.
