Stephanie Kennedy
Owner of Reach Digital Media Solutions
WKBW Interview
As the president of the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of NYS Women, Inc., Stephanie is the youngest woman to hold that leadership position in the chapter or statewide in the history of the organization. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of WNY is the main charitable foundation for which Stephanie volunteers. Through this organization, research to improve the lives of those living with Cystic Fibrosis is privately funded and put back into the CF community right here in WNY. She’s also a half a decade rider in the Ride for Roswell. She says, “Both organizations are close to my heart.”
Stephanie is the owner of Reach Digital Media Solutions, a social media consulting firm. She works closely with clients to expand their social media presence. According to Stephanie, “Through the mentorship, mainly, from NYS Women Inc. (Buffalo Niagara Chapter), I was able to scale my business. As of this year, I’ve worked with over 40 companies in the Greater Buffalo region. I’ve been in business for two years.”
She also says, “I had to overcome the white noise in my head saying that I was too young or too inexperienced to start a business. Everyone has to start somewhere and why not gain experience on my own terms. I had confidence in my work ethic, discipline, and ability to meet new people so I went for it.”
She has a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications and digital media from St. Bonaventure University and previously studied at Trinity College, Oxford University in England during a summer study program.
