Kathaline Woodruff of Embrace Unity Inc. had a dream to help the women in the area who had suffered from opiate addictions get back on their feet. Through a series of events, Kathaline was connected with the Buffalo City Mission and then to Cornerstone Manor which helped her dream take off. She opened the doors of Embrace Unity Inc. - an organization dedicated to helping women who have suffered through opiate addictions get back on their feet, through a scholarship program through Cornerstone Manor, into education programs, and better their lives for their futures.
