BNC is pleased to present Lynn Marinelli who is Governor Cuomo’s Intergovernmental Relations Director in WNY and former Erie County Legislature Chair as the invited keynote speaker at our April dinner meeting. She will discuss pay equity and its impact on working women.
Among the issues concerning equal pay is proposed New York State legislation that prevents employers from asking prior salary in job interview and application - A05982/S06342. Since women frequently start out at a lower pay grade, this legislation is one step towards removing pay inequality, particularly between men and women.
