According to 2016 data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, about 18 percent of the U.S. adult population (44.7 million, or nearly 1 in 5) has a mental illness in any given year. Depression and anxiety cross every industry and occupation, every socioeconomic status, every race and ethnicity. And mental health issues are not limited to blue-collar jobs or white-collar jobs.  Our speaker, Dr. Kathy Calabrese, understands the importance of recognizing mental illness and knowing when to get help. She is the founder of Brain-Body Health Technologies Institute, LLC and is leading the charge in neurofeedback therapy in the Buffalo area. With a PhD in Counseling/Educational Psychology from SUNY Buffalo and a private practice as a NYS Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, Dr. Calabrese has a wealth of knowledge. Join us for a fascinating talk about neurofeedback therapy and how it supports the brain-body’s ability to find its way back to optimal health and well being.
