Our speaker, Maria Blair is the founder of No Illusions Tours, which tells Buffalo’s story through voices from the past, from the burning of the city more than 200 years ago to new art, innovation, and resurgence in recent decades. She’s a supervisor of national accounts at Cardinale Health, but her true passion is telling the story of her city, Buffalo. The very first stories at No Illusions Tours showcase the voices of remarkable women who have lived and worked here, who have helped Buffalo and in many cases the rest of the world to grow, as they grew. This series of tours, Buffalo’s Favorite Daughters, was her company’s first look at Buffalo’s “story.” Maria will share how her background as a real estate salesperson and volunteer at the Richardson Olmstead Campus in Buffalo influenced her to take the leap and create No Illusions Tours.
