Women's History Month events

On March 1, 2012 Ramona Gallagher represented the BNC at the Women’s History Month kick-off event at the Erie County Central Library downtown from 11-1 PM. Sponsored by the Erie County Committee on the Status of Women, various political and community dignitaries, as well as over 50 organizations were invited to participate. This was a great opportunity for visibility and to interact with those who wandered into the area, as well as those from other organizations from the AAUW to the YWCA. Membership brochures were available for those interested; we might have linkages with other groups for future pro9grams or endeavors.
